“Searching for Sustainability” Film & Discussion
The “Searching for Sustainability” 70-minute documentary explores the challenges and solutions we face in our collective search for sustainability. Explore the intersection of food production and sustainable use of soil and water resources. Much of the filming was done in northeast Wisconsin and features interviews with local people. Highlights include manure pits vs cattle grazing, lake/well water contamination vs clean water, soil pollution vs Organic farming, the quality of our food, and how it impacts our health. Join us for this film and panel discussion with Valerie Dantoin, 2024 Organic Farmer of the Year for the Midwest, Executive producer of the documentary Searching for Sustainability, Farmer, teacher, and author on the topic of Climate-Friendly Farming.
