Weinschenk publishes journal article on political anxiety
Professor Aaron Weinschenk (Political Science) recently had a peer-reviewed article accepted for publication. The article is entitled “Is Political Anxiety Different Than General Anxiety?” and is forthcoming in the journal Politics and the Life Sciences. The article is co-authored with University of Nebraska political scientist Kevin Smith and is a follow-up on their 2023 article “On Pins and Needles: Anxiety, Politics, and the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election” (Journal of Elections, Public Opinion & Parties), which developed and validated a new measure of anxiety tied to the political environment.
