Building Together: Fostering Creative Collaboration in the Classroom | Feb. 28 from 12-1 PM in the Breakthrough Studio

Join us for another Gaming in the Classroom session about creative world building with Chris Williams (English) on Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 12-1 PM in the Breakthrough Studio on the third floor of the Cofrin Library. This workshop will focus on utilizing worldbuilding games in the classroom to enact productive and empathetic collaboration between students. A brief worldbuilding game—designed to be completed within one class session—as well as accompanying reflective activities will be provided, as will suggestions for how these tools might be deployed in a variety of courses and modalities.

In this series, Instructors and staff from around campus are coming together to share their experiences, tips, and tricks for how to use games or game theory to reinforce concepts in courses and help students meet learning outcomes.

This is a collaboration between The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning, The Center for Games and Interactive Media, and The UWGB Libraries.
