Spring 2025 Commencement ceremonies

To better accommodate our growing number of graduates and their families/supporters, a new format will be implemented for the Spring 2025 Commencement and continuing onward for future ceremonies. Per the norm, two ceremonies will be hosted based on the college from which students graduate. However, to more evenly distribute graduates between the morning and afternoon ceremonies, the following schedule will be utilized:

• Morning Ceremony:
  • Time: 9:30 AM
  • College: College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS)
  • Degrees: Associates, Undergraduates, and Graduates
• Afternoon Ceremony:
  • Time: 2:00 PM
  • Colleges: College of Health, Education, and Social Welfare (CHESW), Austin E. Cofrin School of Business (CSB), and College of Science, Engineering, and Technology (CSET)
  • Degrees: Undergraduates and Graduates

This change is designed to ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for all attendees, allowing each college to celebrate its graduates with the attention and recognition they deserve, while ensuring we do not exceed capacity in the Kress Events Center. Further details and logistical information will be shared as the Spring 2025 Commencement approaches.
