Hoteling in MRC

Campus departments are invited to set up time(s) throughout the semester to visit the Multicultural Resource Center (MRC) and connect with students, share upcoming events your department is hosting, provide support and guidance and more. This is a great way for students to see staff and faculty outside of their offices/classrooms.

Based on recent semester student traffic, Tuesdays to Thursdays, anytime between 11 am to 4 pm. Feel free to schedule your visit for your desired amount of time. To reserve time in the MRC, please email MRC@uwgb.edu and include a few dates/times that would work for you.

Some tips:

Prior to visit:

–Supply MRC with a flyer to promote your visit (one week ahead of time), in “Instagram square” size to be able to promote on MRC social media

Day of visit:

–Be engaging

–Introduce yourself (your purpose of visiting MRC, your department, etc.)

–MRC staff will not always be available, so they may not be able to help with student engagement.

–Move around the MRC space, don’t stay in one place. Please don’t hide behind your computer.

–Snacks/giveaway items/activities are a great way to engage students

–HAVE FUN!
