Every spring, instructors from across the Universities of Wisconsin gather at the Osthoff Resort for Faculty College, a special institute and retreat centered on teaching and learning. The Office of Professional and Instructional Development (OPID) has recently released information about Faculty College 2026, with Dr. Bryan Dewsbury and Dr. Mays Imad as the invited guest facilitators. Conversations this year will focus on the theme “Co-creating Healthy Learning Ecosystems.”

Participants from each university are nominated by the Provost, but those from UW-Green Bay who are interested first apply to the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL). Lodging and most meals are covered by UW System, but participants must be available to stay overnight at the Osthoff Resort from May 26-29, 2026.

UW-Green Bay instructors who are interested in being considered for this exciting professional development activity should email catl@uwgb.edu by Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, with “Faculty College” in the subject line and a one-paragraph message explaining their interest in the program. Please contact CATL if you have any questions!
