Congratulations to Jessica Lambrecht, executive officer for Continuing Education & Workforce Training at UW-Green Bay for being nominated for the Athena Awards with the Sheboygan Chamber of Commerce. Designed to recognize women in leadership and those who promote women’s career progress, the ATHENA Award was created in 1982 and is celebrated in communities around the world.
Now in Sheboygan, ATHENA nominees are celebrated at a special Ceremony each year highlighted by a prominent keynote speaker. The ATHENA Leadership Awards banquet features three award categories and a dinner celebration honoring the amazing people and organizations who empower, promote and contribute time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in our community, especially women.
