Is Art Bootcamp for You?

Interested in art? Working on a creative project but would like some input from someone else? How about talking with others about their projects, techniques or a great place to find supplies? Art Bootcamp may be just the class for you!

Starting with a small group, Art Bootcamp has met for several semesters, and each semester a few more enthusiasts join us. We’ve had watercolor projects, quilting, oil painting, drawing and sketching, and photography projects, to name just a few. If you can fit it through the door, your project is welcome! Classes are held at Calvary Lutheran Church on Ridge Road in Ashwaubenon for five consecutive weeks, for two hours each week.

Look for “Art Bootcamp” in our upcoming Fall Semester catalog. Our presenter is local artist and retired public school art instructor Jim Briggs. Join Jim and the rest of the class for good conversation, laughter and the sharing of ideas. (Once we settle down, we really do have some quiet time to focus on our projects.)

Bonus: Jim has decided to add a class this fall semester. It’s entitled “Pen and Ink Drawing” and will be offered in Rose Hall. Again, check it out in the upcoming Fall Semester catalog! If you have any interest in exploring your artistic side, we’d love to have you!
