Another LIR member seen volunteering in our community… Milt Oldenburg working at the Habitat for Humanity Restore, recycling metals.
Throughout the year the Curriculum Committee works on ideas for classes to form the Catalog contents. Ideas generate from individuals with diverse backgrounds who are willing to explore and discuss them with the Committee. Without such Committee team work this remarkable voluntary LIR organization could not exist. New members are highly sought after. LIR members are needed to step forward and visit us at our monthly meeting ( we also serve coffee) for some fun while keeping LIR alive and vibrant. Contact can be made at 920-869-2032 or email@example.com. Come visit our meeting at Beautiful Savior Church (Packerland and Cormier) at 8 AM on the first Monday of the month.
Course coordinator Jane Hyduke watches Janice Rickert practice a piece in Mary Vandersteen’s “Recreational Music” class at Hyde Music. You can help insure that LIR can continue providing this type of excellent educational opportunity by volunteering to be a course coordinator for the Fall Semester. Just contact our Volunteer Development Committe chairperson, Karen Dallman (406-8206) . This is an excellent opportunity for you to get more involved with LIR and make new contacts and friends.
