Research Assistantship Dr. Fogaca

Dr. Fogaca is looking for two research assistants for Spring 2019. They will perform research-related tasks, such as looking for and summarizing articles, collecting data, analyzing data, and writing. Transcription of interviews may be necessary as well. The topics of research include: positive youth development through sports; gender stereotype and performance of referees; use of computers in the classroom; and learning and performance.

Research assistants must participate of weekly meetings on Thursday mornings (negotiable for afternoon) and complete a final research proposal. Online student majors are also welcome to apply. I have special interest in students who have taken Cognitive Neuroscience and/or Physiological Psychology, but it is not a requirement. Applicants must have already taken Research methods with at least a B and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher (although a slightly lower GPA can be accepted).

Applicants should send their unofficial transcripts and a paragraph explaining their interest in research to before December 1st. Feel free to email questions about this opportunity as well.
