On August 19, 2019, the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business welcomed Praneet Tiwari as a Lecturer of Data Science.

Praneet comes to UW-Green Bay from PraVal, Inc. which is a technology consulting company where he was President for 2.5 years and he was also Chief Technology Officer at ARxChange/TriCap Technology Group for 1.5 years. He hold a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from India.

He has over 12 years of experience in information systems spread across various verticals like academics, finance, mortgage, healthcare and hospitality. He has extensive experience setting-up technology infrastructure for start-ups and mid-level enterprises. His other interests include big data, data integration & analysis, data visualization, blockchair, AI, Machine Learning, DBSM, software design and architecture, cloud computing, and distributed processing.

Praneet is married to Dr. Vallari Chandna.

On August 19, 2019, the Music department welcomed Luis Fernandez as an Assistant Professor in Strings and Music Education.

Luis comes to UW-Green Bay from Badger Elementary School in Appleton, WI. He has a DMA from the University of Miami, MM from the University of Florida, and a BM from New World School.

In his free time, he enjoys photography, travel, and spending time with family. Luis performs with the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra, Oshkosh Symphony and Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra.

Luis is originally from Caracas, Venezuela and he has a wife, Anna, and a two-year-old son Manuel Benjamin. He is looking forward to joining the great faculty at UWGB.

On August 29, 2019, Client Services welcomed Kim Miller as an IT Support Specialist.

Kim comes to UW-Green Bay from the Menasha Joint School District and she has years of experience in technology, computer science, educational leadership and end user support. She has a BBA from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh in Management Information Systems with a Computer Science Minor; Graduate and Certification course in Educational Leadership.

In her free time, Kim enjoys gardening, spending time with family and video development. She is involved in the worship media team at her church running the sound, live steaming, and presentation software. She is originally from Reedsville, WI and is married with three daughters (two in college and one in high school).

She is excited to be joining the Client Services team.

On August 29, 2019, the Human Development department welcomed Elif Ikizer as an Assistant Professor in Psychology.

Elif comes to UW-Green Bay from Yale University where she was a postdoctoral scholar. She holds a PhD in psychology from the University of Connecticut, MA in Psychology from Koc University, Istanbul, and BSc in Chemistry from Bogazici University in Istanbul.

Elif is originally from Istanbul, Turkey.
