Bilingual Student Services Specialist

Student Services Specialists work in the Green Bay One Stop Shop (GBOSS) to assist clients (i.e., enrolled and prospective students, parents, faculty, staff and the general public) with routine transactions and inquiries, educate clients about university policies, procedures and resources, advise clients about alternative courses of action, and work collaboratively with other university offices and external agencies on behalf of clients to expedite problem resolution. Specialists respond proactively to phone, e-mail and in-person inquiries and transactional requests by clarifying the request, diagnosing the problem, researching the resolution, taking action on the request, and following up as appropriate. Specialists make recommendations to the Enrollment Services Manager, the Enrollment Services Directors and Dean on procedural and/or business practice improvements and help track customer service metrics to continuously improve student services and satisfaction. Specialists perform all the duties of a Student Affairs professional, consistent with institutional, division, and departmental mission, vision and values. Interim Associate Provost for Academic Affairs – Open to UW-Green Bay Employees Only – DEADLINE EXTENDED

The Associate Provost for Academic Affairs coordinates and integrates activities that promote an enriching academic experience for students and provides administrative leadership for programs and services that support student learning and instruction. The Associate Provost is responsible for academic program review and curriculum development processes, international education, student success and engagement, first-year experience programming, the development of teaching and learning effectiveness, institutional accreditation, and inter-institutional academic agreements. This position will work to enhance UW-Green Bay’s equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts within academic affairs, including creating an environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates those with diverse identities, beliefs, and cultural backgrounds. The Associate Provost reports to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and serves on the Provost’s Administrative Council. Facilities Repair Worker

This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and the primary responsibilities of this position include the performance of general facilities maintenance and minor remodeling work to campus buildings and equipment.  In addition, this position will perform preventative maintenance to building structures, including cosmetic and/or decorative improvements.  This position will provide professional advice with materials and time required to complete various tasks, read blueprints and follow MSDS recommendations and requirements.   This position will also perform mechanical and carpentry repair work, painting, woodworking, train student and/or LTE staff, direct/coordinate student and/or LTE work, and maintain inventory and supplies.

Administrative Assistant

This position reports to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management (AVCEM) and assists in the development and monitoring of the budget and human resources for the division of Enrollment Management.  The AVCEM is responsible for all students (approximately 7000) and with a budget of approximately 4 million dollars.  The USPA coordinates and maintains the AVCEM calendar, recommends action regarding sensitive and confidential correspondence, maintains a system for assigning and tracing the progress and completion of correspondence assigned to others for response, and makes travel arrangements.  Schedule appointments, meetings, committees and events with top administrators.  Prepare materials, agendas and arrange for facility and program needs.  Duties require recognizing potential problems and exercising independent judgment in applying complex policies, rules and regulations into decision-making actions.  Work is performed under general direction and exercises independent judgment and thinking in completing the required duties.
