Continuing Professional Education University Services Program Associate

This position performs a wide variety of duties and responsibilities requiring a broad, complex skill set and reports to the Area Director of Continuing Professional Education. This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service within the Division, to outside customers and partnering organizations. As a liaison with internal and external people, this position interacts with a diverse audience of individuals and organizations by communicating procedural information, interpreting and implementing System regulations and policies, and resolving complex problems as they occur. Admissions Counselor (Two Vacancies)

The admissions counselor implements a comprehensive recruitment plan designed to enrich the campus community by attracting and enrolling a diverse student body, and reports to the Assistant Director of Admissions. Recruit students and provide support for prospects as they progress through the admissions process. Advise on academic planning, programs, requirements, and campus resources. Coordinate and attend recruitment events to increase brand awareness and to build a diverse recruitment pipeline. Assist in identifying, communicating, and implementing vital recruitment strategies targeting diverse populations, in an effort to enhance and grow the University’s student body. Recruit and serve within the local community, while creating and implementing outreach programs targeted toward all students of color. Work to enhance UW-Green Bay’s recruitment efforts and create an environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates those with diverse identities, beliefs and cultural backgrounds.

These regional recruiter positions will serve different geographic areas. One position will serve the northern Wisconsin and upper Michigan regions, and the other position will serve the central Wisconsin coastline including Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Ozaukee and Washington counties. Financial Specialist

The University Services Program Associate position assists in carrying out the mission and philosophy of the Office of Residence Life. The Office of Residence Life provides housing for 2,000 students during the academic year and 2,000 guests during the summer months; and employs approximately 18 full-time staff and 100 student employees. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: a) departmental budget and financial management; b) technology management c) student employment and payroll; d) business operations, and e) departmental purchasing and travel. This position reports to the Assistant Director for Operations; and assumes additional responsibilities assigned by and makes recommendations to the Assistant Director. Work hours for this position are 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Research Program Manager I (One-Year Appointment)

The Research Program Manager I will work closely and collaboratively with the Consortium of Applied Research (CAR) Director to coordinate and implement required data collection of 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) afterschool programs. This position will provide training and technical assistance to afterschool program staff regarding data collection, complete data quality checks to ensure data are reliably entered into the system, communicate data findings to key stakeholders, and analyze data for reporting purposes. In addition, this position will oversee the hiring and supervision of a small group of graduate students. Typical activities will include instrument/survey development, data collection, technical assistance to community organizations collecting evaluation data, developing and facilitating trainings regarding appropriate data collection techniques, data analysis, interpretation and application, and dissemination of findings in oral and written forms.

This position reports to the Business Analyst and will assist with the design, development, implementation, maintenance and project management of business process workflows using the software application (BP Logix). The AC is a member of the Residence Life team and holds administrative responsibilities, participates in committees and meetings, and serves students in a multitude of ways.
