The University of Wisconsin – Green Bay seeks applicants for two Human Resources Assistant positions. Candidates who apply to this posting will be considered for both open positions.

These positions include the following responsibilities:

Human Resources Assistant 1:

Under the general direction of the Human Resources Specialist, this position serves as the lead worker for personnel transaction entry. This position coordinates and enters personnel transaction data in the Human Resources System (HRS), processes student employment paperwork and handles various recruitment activities for the divisions of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Information Services, Library and Provost office. Other responsibilities of this position include employee exit processing, fiscal year end monitoring, and assisting with miscellaneous administrative duties.  This position will serve as an HR liaison with internal and external staff, and interact with others to resolve problems and communicate policy and procedure information as needed.

Human Resources Assistant 2:

Under the general direction of the Human Resources Specialist, this position coordinates and enters personnel transaction data in the Human Resources System (HRS), processes student employment paperwork and handles various recruitment activities for the divisions of Professional Studies, Outreach and Adult Access, Enrollment Services and Dean of Students. This position also serves as the campus coordinator for US Citizenship and Immigration Services, coordinates orientation and onboarding for new employees, provides general administrative support, and performs a variety of other Human Resource related activities. This position will serve as an HR liaison with internal and external staff, and interact with others to resolve problems and communicate policy and procedure information as needed.

Grant Writer

Under the direction of the Director of Grants & Research in the Office of Grants & Research, the position of Grant Writer/Development Specialist works with members of the campus community to develop proposals to secure funding from public and private sources.  Additionally, this position works closely with faculty, staff, and administrators to provide information and assist with grant writing activities using an inclusive, customer service-oriented approach to support the work of diverse individuals and groups.

Student Outreach Specialist – Nursing

Under the direction of the Manager of Student Outreach in Nursing, the Student Outreach Specialist is responsible for recruiting, follow-up with, and securing applications from prospective students who are ADN prepared Registered Nurses into the RN to BSN program, BSN prepared nurses into the MSN program, along with complimentary student recruitment activities for the Health Information and Management Program.  The Student Outreach Specialist works closely with the Nursing Programs’ Student Services Specialist, Advisors, Faculty, University student services staff, and outside personnel and institutions.

Director of Development (Two Vacancies)

The Director of Development identifies, qualifies, cultivates, and solicits individuals and organizations for philanthropic support of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (UWGB).  The Director of Development builds relationships, solicits and secures gifts and pledges, and provides regular stewardship of donors and their gifts.  The Director of Development raises funds in support of the University and its academic programs, departments, services, special initiatives, facilities, students, faculty, and staff.

Enrollment Services Front Desk Advisor

The Student Services Specialist works in the Green Bay One Stop Shop (GBOSS) to assist clients (i.e. enrolled and prospective students, parents, faculty, staff, and the general public) with routine transactions and inquiries, educate clients about University policies, procedures and resources, advise clients about alternative courses of action, and work collaboratively with other University offices and external agencies on behalf of clients to expedite problem resolution.

University Services Associate 2

The University Services Associate 2 is responsible for administrative and program support operations for the Professional Program in Education and Phuture Phoenix.  The duties include serving as receptionist, preparation and dissemination of correspondence, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meeting and travel arrangements.  This position will provide direct support to the Professional Program in Education Chair, the Phuture Phoenix Director and the faculty and staff in both areas.

This position will also perform the financial related activities of the Phuture Phoenix program, including budget reconciliation, preparation and processing of financial reports and maintenance of related financial and donor records.  The University Services Associate 2 will also service as liaison between the Phuture Phoenix program and select external constituents.

Lecturer and MSW Field Coordinator – Social Work

The department of Social Work at UW-Green Bay seeks applicants for a non-tenure track position in Social Work.  This instructional academic staff position holds a part-time appointment as Program Lecturer in Social Work Professional Programs, and a part-time appointment as the Master’s in Social Work (MSW) Program Field Coordinator.  Lecturer duties will comprise approximately 50% of the overall position responsibilities.  This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the field component of the MSW curriculum, and  will be responsible for teaching courses in the BSW and/or MSW programs. Dean of Science and Technology – Open to UW-Green Bay Employees Only

The founding Dean of the College of Science and Technology is responsible for budget, personnel, curriculum, strategic planning and decisions, and for working with diverse constituencies to promote the University and these programs.  The Dean will provide academic and administrative leadership and oversight of interdisciplinary and disciplinary programs in the College.  The Dean of the College of Science and Technology will work in a collaborative fashion with the Deans of the College of Health, Education and Social Welfare; the Austin E. Custodian (Third Shift)

The University of Wisconsin – Green Bay has a current vacancy for a full time, third shift Custodian in the Kress Events Center. This position works under the general supervision of the Custodial Services Supervisor, and is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of their designated areas.

This position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Clean offices, locker rooms, aerobic/dance rooms, event media rooms, gymnasiums, restrooms, and other building areas
  • Maintain all floor surfaces including mopping, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, and refinishing.
  • Clean windows (inside and outside).
  • Clean furniture.
  • Assist with furniture, piano, and equipment moves as required.
  • Stock restrooms and custodial work areas with necessary supplies and products.
  • Remove waste and recycling.
  • Perform snow removal and salting of building entrances.
  • This position will be required to drive a State vehicle and travel between work locations as needed.

Curator of Art and Instructor of Arts Management

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay invites applications for the position of Curator of Art and Instructor of Arts Management. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of exhibitions at the Lawton Gallery (preparatory, curatorial, informational, maintenance, operational, supervisory, outreach/social media, marketing, and financial), maintenance of the permanent collection, and teaching and administration duties within the Arts Management program. The Curator will be responsible for 6-8 exhibits per year, including faculty and student shows, and will be expected to mount a creative variety of other exhibits which demonstrate a broad spectrum of arts and cultural interests appropriate to a University setting.
