Assistant Teaching Professor – Economics

The Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay seeks applicants for an Assistant Teaching Professor in Economics. Reporting to the Director of Academic Technology Services (ATS), the Classroom Technology Lead is responsible for the supervision of all day-to-day operations and activities regarding classroom technology, videoconferencing, and distance education systems. This position will assist the faculty and staff by answering questions and providing training for all classroom technology and media equipment, as well as helping solve client classroom technology-related problems, including networking, audio and video equipment, and computer hardware and software, conducting on-site training as needed, and working with the Help Desk to resolve workstation and other technology related issues. This includes installation and programming of equipment along with troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining instructional technology hardware, software, systems, and peripherals (or working with vendors to do so), as well as researching, recommending, and designing classroom technology systems.

IT Business Analyst II (2 Vacancies)

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is looking for fill two IT Business Analyst II positions: one position will be a general IT Business Analyst and one position will focus on supporting our Student Information System (SIS). These positions report to the Director of Enterprise Applications and Integration and will conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses in an effort to align information technology (IT) solutions with business initiatives. Prepares functional, system, and program specifications. Holds a higher level of technical skills and application in their work, variation in activities, longer-term work, latitude to apply skills to solve routine problems without review, and some latitude to devise the approach and method to performing assignments. Performs routine work without supervision, seeking assistance when guidelines are inadequate, significant deviations are proposed, or when unanticipated problems arise.

These positions will also support the design & development, enhancement, implementation, maintenance, and documentation of Information Technology systems and software.  Provides IT business analysis, business process improvement and/or automation, recommendations & guidance, project management, system administration, configuration, technical & functional support, issue resolution, documentation & training, and/or reporting.  Acts as a liaison between other IT staff, functional staff, and/or vendors.  May serve as a primary IT contact for specific departments or divisions.

Service Desk Lead

The User Support Specialist, under the direction of the Director of Technology Support Services, delivers strategically significant and highly specialized information technology (IT) support services to end users in support of institutional technology operations. This position interacts daily with clients who have varying levels of technical expertise and provide them with excellent support and consulting services. The User Support Specialists mentor student employees, document and implement industry-standard best practices, and develop and provide training to end users.
