Area Coordinator

The Area Coordinator position assists in carrying out the mission and philosophy of the Office of Residence Life. The Office of Residence Life provides housing for 2,000 students during the academic year and 2,500 guests during the summer. The Area Coordinator (AC) is responsible for overseeing a community of approximately 400 residents; and with the help of Resident Assistants (RAs), strives to develop and maintain a safe, enjoyable, supportive and inclusive living environment for residents where they can achieve academic success and personal growth and development. The AC is a member of the Residence Life team and holds administrative responsibilities, participates in committees and meetings, and serves students in a multitude of ways. This position will work to enhance UW-Green Bay’s inclusive student support efforts and create an environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates those with diverse identities, beliefs, and cultural backgrounds. The AC reports to the Associate Director; and assumes additional responsibilities assigned by and makes recommendations to the Director.
