Welcome Carrie Schultz!

On January 7, 2019, the Controller’s Office welcomed Carrie Schultz as a Financial Specialist Senior.

Carrie has been working with her husband at Schultz Trucking, LLC since its inception near the end of 1999. She attends to the office and bookkeeping duties while her husband maintains the driving role.

Carrie tries to be involved in the community whenever she can either assisting her daughter’s coaches at practices and helping out with selling concessions. She is a plasma donor at Biolife. She enjoys helping those who need valuable injections of healthy plasma so they can lead more productive lives. She also has been handing out water during the Bellin Run.

Ford Mustangs are Carrie’s passion. She currently drives a 2005 Roush Mustang and her family is restoring a 1970 Mach 1 Mustang. She lives outdoor activities and we can find her at the ballpark in the summer, at the gun club watching trap, and sitting in the bleachers watching the dance team perform as well cheering on the basketball team. She also likes to ski, snowmobile, and enjoy walks with her dog, Lady.

Carrie has an Associate’s degree from NWTC. While leaving the work force to raise her kids, she decided to go to UWGB to obtain a Bachelor’s in Applied Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She received her degree in 2010 and graduated Cum Laude. She still felt compelled to complete a degree in Accounting so she applied to Lakeland University. She has 5 courses to complete her Bachelor’s degree and hopes to obtain that within a few years.

Carrie was born and raised in Wayside, WI and is currently living in the country outside of Denmark. She is married to her husband, Brian for 20 years. They have three children, Heather, 18, who is a Senior at Denmark High School, Dylan, 16, a sophomore at Denmark High School, and Ashlyn, 13, a 7th grader at Denmark Middle School. They have a dog, three cats, a chameleon, and a few tropical fish.

Welcome, Carrie!
