Assistant/Associate Professor – Computer Science

The department of Natural and Applied Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay seeks applicants for a tenure-track position in Computer Science. Natural and Applied Sciences is an interdisciplinary academic unit that includes biologists, chemists, computer scientists, engineers, environmental scientists, geoscientists, mathematicians, statisticians, and physicists. The successful applicant will help develop a growing computer science program featuring cybersecurity, in conjunction with a new STEM innovation center building, an ongoing relationship with NSA (the only GenCyber camp in the state of Wisconsin) and Google (through Ignite CS program), and an expanding engineering program.

Successful applicants will have the ability to teach general undergraduate courses in Computer Science and have a specialty in one or more of the following areas: web scripting & internet programming, computer graphics, information technologies, systems analysis & organization, and networking & computation theory. Applicants that have prior leadership experience and the potential to immediately assume Chair duties for the Computer Science discipline are especially encouraged to apply.
