Welcome Tetyana Malysheva!

MalyshevaThe department of Natural and Applied Sciences welcomes Tetyana Malysheva as an Assistant Professor of Applied Mathematics!  Tetyana earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma (OU). She also holds a Ph.D. in Physical and Mathematical Sciences with specialization in Computational Mathematics from the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and a M.S. in Computer Sciences from the National Technical University of Ukraine “KPI”. She previously taught at the University of Oklahoma and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine. Tetyana is an active member of the American Mathematical Society and the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics and presented her research in interdisciplinary applied and computational mathematics at international, national, and regional conferences. She is also the OU Graduate Teaching Academy Fellow and earned a number of academic and teaching recognitions and awards, including the OU Provost’s Certificate of Distinction for Outstanding Graduate Assistant Teaching. She moved to Wisconsin from Norman, OK with her husband.
