Tara DaPra is a teaching professor at UW-Green Bay who writes about grief, parenthood, food, teaching, books, therapy, money, magic rocks, and the process of writing on her Substack “Everyday Epiphanies.” The author of the oft-cited Creative Nonfiction essay “Writing Memoir and Writing for Therapy,” she’s also written for The Washington Post and appeared on Wisconsin Public Radio. Tara is seeking a home for her memoir “The Hill of Tara: A Memoir of Love, Grief, and Other Liminal Spaces,” which chronicles her search for love and belonging. She met her husband in a Dublin pub and they are parents to two red-haired boys.
