UW-Green Bay has been so incredible this past month. When I was at home preparing to come to college, I had no clue what to expect. I was so scared to be alone and responsible for myself 24/7, or that I just wouldn’t like living on campus. Boy was I wrong. I’ve made the best friend group a girl could ask for. I’ve also surprised myself with how responsible I can be on my own. I thought I would sink without my mom constantly being there to keep me on task, but that just hasn’t been the case either. I’ve been able to stay caught up on all of my schoolwork as well as simple personal responsibilities.
In addition, I wasn’t expecting how beautiful the campus would be. On the tours everyone always says how their campus is beautiful no matter what season it is, but I’ve definitely been pleasantly surprised with how gorgeous the trees have been this fall. This is my favorite season, so I thoroughly enjoy looking around and seeing all of the different colors and just how pretty nature is. I definitely fangirl over how beautiful everything gets in the fall. I’ve also been happy with all the classes I have this semester. I genuinely enjoy all of my teachers and the people in those classes. I’m just honestly so glad I decided on Green Bay for my college. I really love it here and I can’t wait for the next few years.
