Since childhood, I have been a relatively independent person. When I was young, my parents were very busy with work, often leaving the house before I woke up and returning after I had fallen asleep. Therefore, I could go to and from school alone at the age of 6, and cook for myself at the age of 10. I could take good care of my life and arrange my learning tasks well. I am the boss of my time. I am in charge of my time. Just this year, on my 19th birthday, I came to the United States alone to study and live. For me, this is a very challenging and intimidating thing to do. Even though I often travel alone, I have never lived alone in a strange country for so long. The strange country and strange language environment make me uneasy, but I firmly believe that I can live well, arrange everything well, and become my own boss.
A month has passed and I have gradually adapted to the life in the United States. I will write a weekly schedule every week, listing the homework and exams that I need to complete this week. Sometimes there are young life volunteer activities on weekends, and I take an active part in them. I enjoy the time allocated by myself, all things are arranged by myself, and every completion can increase my sense of accomplishment. I am eager to complete all the tasks, which will make every day full and planned, and I will not think of some things that should be completed in the coming period. A planned life may be a little boring, but I enjoy it. I’m proud to be the boss of my own time. I believe the future will be better! Look forward to the arrival of every tomorrow!
