I Have A Secret, Shh…

I honestly just go with the flow in college, not doing too much but also not doing too little. I did not join any clubs, which I wish I had joined at least one. Getting involved is something I should have done in the beginning of the semester. Now more than halfway through, joining clubs is harder than it was two months ago. Every club is already in action. I do not want to be the person who joins ate and expects to be involved in

everything. I recommend signing up for clubs, even if you are not fully convinced you want to be a part of it, you can always just leave it. Getting involved  helps you meet new people, which is something I recommend because the friends I made on day one are not my friends three months      into the semester.                                                                         Image Source:https://www.elcamino.edu/campus-life/organizations/     Tring to make friends here was something I struggled with at first. “I was not going to ask some stranger if they want to be friends, that is embarrassing” is what I thought. Everyone here is thinking the same thing, hoping someone introduces themselves to them. I should have been more outgoing, talked to people I thought looked cool, but I didn’t. Instead, I let people introduce themselves to me, and I am not friends with one of them now. Do not let anybody make you feel like you have to act differently. You need to be yourself. It is college, not high school, grow up and be you. The right people for you will find you, and they will replace your first week friends who weren’t very nice.
