Chancellor-designate: Gary L. Miller

On Monday, June 2, Gary L. Miller was named the sixth chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Read the UW System press release.

The University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents approved Gary L. Miller’s appointment, following the recommendation made by President Ray Cross and a subcommittee of Regents. Miller begins August 1, 2014.

Miller will succeed Chancellor Thomas K. Harden, who announced in December 2013 that he intends to conclude his tenure as the University’s top administrator in August 2014 after serving in this capacity since June 1, 2009. Miller will be UW-Green Bay’s sixth chancellor.
