Alumni volunteers needed

CellcomCare to share your time and talents representing UW-Green Bay and our alumni? We currently have needs for the following events, boards and committees.

  • Alumni Board Committees: Serve on either the Student Engagement or Fund Development committees. We need help planning and executing alumni events and raising money to support the scholarships we give annually.
  • Alumni Mentors: In July, we will be launching the UWGB Alumni Mentor Program and are seeking alumni mentors and mentees. Each mentor would commit to a one-year mentoring opportunity with another UWGB graduate. Each mentor will be provided with guidance to mentor effectively. Interested mentors should have graduated on or before 2011 and/or have a deep understanding of their field. The only criteria to be a mentee is a desire to grow in your profession. Visit http://uwgreenbay.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6zoHeLDcoHNc8Fn to sign up before June 15.
  • Commencement Receiving Line: Congratulate and welcome our newest graduates to the Alumni Association by volunteering for the Commencement receiving line. It is easy and fun! Arrive at the Kress Events Center by 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, claim your FREE Phoenix PRIDE Shirt and stand in line with fellow alums to cheer on UWGB’s spring 2016 graduating class.
  • Cellcom Marathon Water Station: Volunteer at our water station in the Green Bay Cellcom Marathon Sunday, May 22. It’s one of our most rewarding and fun events of the year! Volunteers typically start at 7 a.m. and are done by 10 a.m. To sign up to volunteer, visit Cellcom volunteer. Questions can be directed to Jennifer Degener at jdegener21@gmail.com.

If you are interested, or have any questions, please contact Director of Alumni Relations Kari Moody at 920-465-2226 or moodyk@uwgb.edu.
