Color Run 2013 005Name and Grad Year: Bob and Jeanne Cramer ’73. They both graduated May 27th 1973. Bob’s birthday was May 28th, they were married June 2nd, and Jeanne’s birthday was June 4th. You can imagine what a busy few weeks they had!
Major: Human Growth and Development
Favorite Professor: Carol Richter
Current Employment: Jeanne retired from St. Jude School and Bob from Procter and Gamble. In their retirement, they enjoy watching their grandsons after school three days a week and during the summer. Their grandsons are the light of their lives.
Hobbies: They both enjoy running, biking, golfing and watching sports. Jeanne enjoyes taking pictures, scrapbooking and reconnecting with friends and family on Facebook. Bob is in two Fantasy Football leagues.
First career position after graduating: After graduation they couldn’t find teaching jobs. Early education wasn’t paying much in those days so they subbed in local schools until they were forced to find jobs outside of their field. Jeanne was lucky to be able to stay home with her two daughters until their youngest was in second grade. She was then offered a job at St. Jude School, which happened to be across the street from where they live. Bob worked for Procter and Gamble.
Extracurricular groups/organizations: None, they worked alot of hours to put themselves through school but they did attend many UWGB basketball and soccer games.
What one word comes to mind when thinking of UWGB? “Peanuts.” Back then there was “Peanut Night” at the Student Union and they both threw peanuts at each other. For a long time Bob’s nickname for Jeanne was “Peanuts.”
Favorite spot on campus? Their favorite spot at UWGB, besides the Student Union, was the people pockets.  They spent a lot of time there, getting to know each other.
