Research Interests: My research interests include community ecology of Lake Michigan fishes, invasive species interactions, habitat classification and utilization by fish, and remote sensing . My previous work has focused on  interactions between round gobies and age-0 yellow perch, diet and distribution of slimy sculpin at Lake Michigan’s Mid-Lake Reef complex, and assessing the fish community around the WE-Energies artificial reef off of Oak Creek, WI.  Current projects include quantifying nearshore-wetland energy pathways for Lake Michigan sportfishes using stable isotope analysis and otolith microchemistry, and mapping restoration activities in the Duck Creek delta of lower Green Bay.

Hobbies: Scuba diving, duck/deer/upland game hunting, walleye fishing, and hockey. I also enjoy home improvement projects around the house.
