I guess it has been a little while since I blogged here, hasn’t it? For those just tuning in, I will use this space to post things that are of interest to students. Events that tie in to classes, links to news items and/or other blogs that I think my students might enjoy, and I am determined to begin a list of good books. “Good” being defined as “I like it” of course. : )
This semester I am teaching Cross-Cultural Human Development and Myth, Ritual, Symbol and Religion – the first straight anthropology class I’ve taught since I’ve been at UWGB. The nature of the things that connect to class should be wide-ranging but with quite a bit of overlap. I’ll look forward to seeing you back here, and to developing some good discussions through the comments. Please do send me links and news and your own book reviews if you feel like it.
