2019 – Beneficial Cover Crop Project – The overarching objective of this project was to monitor pollinator and invertebrate diversity within varying levels of diversified cover crop fields. Funded by the Brown County Land and Water Conservation Department and in partnership with Fox Demonstration Farms Network and US Fish and Wildlife Service, UWGB students were hired to conduct this pilot project. 2016 – Ridges Sanctuary Phragmites Mapping – The goal of this 2016 field season project is an up-to-date Phragmites inventory for The Ridges proper and for neighboring coastal and inland sites. See more

2016 – Point au Sable Phragmites Inventory – Natural Areas Crew member Roberta Reif mapped changes in the prevalence of the invasive grass Phragmites australis. See more

2015 – Point au Sable 10 Meter Reference Grid – The grid functions as a template for technicians and researchers wishing to map various ground conditions at a resolution of 10-meters. See more

2014 – Point au Sable Lagoon – Surveying Work – In June of 2014 a professional surveying firm was hired to establish reference elevations at the site. See more

2014 – Point au Sable Lagoon – Water Level Data – Instrument readings were taken during the 2014 field season. See more

2013-2015 – Point au Sable Lagoon – Water Level Control and Measurement – We determined that our research and management efforts at Point au Sable are enhanced if we’re able to manipulate the lagoon water level. See more
