CURRENT ACTIVITIES

Ridges Sanctuary Phragmites Mapping – The goal of this 2016 field season project is an up-to-date Phragmites inventory for The Ridges proper and for neighboring coastal and inland sites. The field work is being performed by members of the UWGB Natural Areas crew under the direction of staff from Stantec’s Green Bay Office. Our field technicians are maintaining an interactive web map which permits all parties to track progress in near-real time.

Point au Sable Water Level Monitoring – A substantial amount of work has been done over the last several years to allow systematic monitoring of lagoon water levels.

Facilitating Phragmites Adaptive Management – A project that will help manage invasive Phragmites in northeastern Wisconsin.
