Effective May 16, 2011 Shorewood has implemented a Pin Placement system that will rotate the pin placement on each green to one of nine sections. A letter code (A-I) will designate the location of pin on each green and will provide for a variety of pin positions on any given day. Customers can expect to see three front, three middle, and three back pin positions while also seeing three left, center, and right pin positions. The position will change most every day creating a nine-day rotation that when combined with changes in the location of the tee blocks to create a varied golf experience for the customer. An added benefit of this program will be healthier greens through the extended use of all areas of each green.
