Even though the Sheepshead Review is a student operation, there’s a more experienced leader holding us all together. She is our guide and inspiration, and provides a sense of direction on the days when all we want to do is drink coffee and watch reruns of “Friends”. Now in her tenth year at UW-Green Bay, Professor Rebecca Meacham has and will continue to advise the production of the journal.
As the commander in chief of the creative writing program, she teaches all levels of writing courses as well as literature classes ranging from American ghost stories to a single-author Toni Morrison class this spring. Students are always challenged to do new things and are expected to reach for excellence in and out of the classroom every day.
Additionally, Professor Meacham has published two collections of short works, Let’s Do and, more recently, Morbid Curiosities (available for purchase at the Reader’s Loft in Green Bay and online from the New Delta Review website). She is also currently writing a novel about the Great Peshtigo Fire.
Embrace the opportunity to work with our fearless leader and join the staff!
