UWGB Education students at the April 26 CREATE Conference

More than 20 UW-Green Bay Education students attended the CREATE (Culturally Responsive Education for All Training and Enhancement) Conference April 26th which focused on bridging gaps amongst diverse PK-12  student populations and was sponsored by CESA 6. The conference gave students the opportunity to grow and strengthen their cultural competencies as well as build practical skills for reaching diverse learners inside the classroom. The students heard from national speakers and participated in active breakout workshops.

This opportunity was made possibly through scholarships from the UWGB Professional Program in Education as well as the Institute for Learning Partnership. Congratulations to these Education students and their faculty advisor Kim Desotell.    The students will be recognized at Education’s Celebration of Achievement on May 9th.
