Several UW-Green Bay faculty members from the Professional Program in Nursing collaborated on a chapter in a text that was recently published in 2012.  The text is titled User Interface Design for Virtual Environments: Challenges and Advances. Faculty members including Brenda Tyczkowski, Susan Gallagher-Lepak, Christine Vandenhouten and Janet Reilly collaborated with Eric Bauman, an outside consultant to write the chapter entitled, An Interface Design Evaluation of Courses in a Nursing Program Using an E-Learning Framework: A Case Study.  The chapter examines the interface design of the internet based nursing courses in the BSN@Home program.  The program was started in 1995 in order to serve associate degree and diploma prepared nurses throughout the state of Wisconsin who desire a baccalaureate degree in nursing.  BSN@Home is a statewide program that is delivered collaboratively by five University of Wisconsin nursing programs (UW-Eau Claire, UW-Green Bay, UW-Madison, UW-Milwaukee and UW-Oshkosh)
