Professor Staudinger wins prestigious national grant from National Endowment for Humanities

Congratulations are in order for our colleague, Alison Staudinger, who has just been awarded $22,000 grant to work on the develpment of the course on the Role of Work in Human Life, a first-year seminar on the changing nature of work throughout history, with consideration of its economic, political, and personal importance. Prof. Staudinger’s application was considered carefully during the NEH review process, which includes peer review along with deliberation by the National Council on the Humanities and the Office of the Chairman. The proposal garnered strong positive reviews and was subsequently funded! Congratulations from all of us, prof. Staudinger!
