The seventh annual Steps to Make a Difference Walk took place on October 27th and was organized by the Public and Nonprofit Management Class as well as the UWGB Civics Club.  About $5,000 was raised and went to benefit the Baird Creek Preservation Foundation, Ecumenical Partnership for Housing, Hand N Hand, and Neville Public Museum Foundation .  A fun aspect of the 2012 Steps Walk was the hot chocolate provided at the Lambeau Cottage for participants.  Additionally, fun facts were posted along the route for walkers to learn more about the nonprofits that they helped out.
