    1. With spring semester 4 weeks away, there has not been any planning by a class as yet. Watch our news blog for updates.

  1. Mixing alcohol and energy drinks is a recipe for disaster. The body is struggling to adjust to both types of stimuli. Its amazing we don’t read more about these types of things.

  2. Great topics! I hope the Health Fair went well. As a skin care specialist I am always happy to see skin cancer prevention on the agenda. It is just coming into summer now in our part of the world (NZ).

  3. I was happy that someone finally talked about these subjects, in particular about the energy drinks. my brother drinks everything and mix this all together, wich afcourse is very dangerous. He was almost gone some night because of this. I hope he now finally sees why this can’t go on.

  4. This type of event and activity is needed more lately to help aware the people about health and not just think about work and money. What good does your money bring when tomorrow you will loose them all to pay your bills and medicines?

  5. I think its extremely important that people are aware of the dangers of binge drinking and mixing energy drinks, its just too much for the liver to handle in one go and can serious adverse effects.

  6. I’m so glad someone is doing something about educating our society about the dangers of high energy drinks. Teenagers are the ones that need this information as it is them that seem to be hooked on these the most.

  7. really nice topic, i am really interested in preventing diseases. Lets promote health and wellness.. Let me also share with you the website that i like, it has lots of articles to read that are useful. ~ Dealing with stress and anxiety

It is great to see more of an interest in preventing disease by changing the lifestyle of society. With medical cost increasing the emphasis should be on promoting the benefits of healthly living and prevention!

  11. Had to share my 2 cents. Often times people are miss-lead and/or intimidated by false information regarding their health and well-being.

Great job sharing from your heart.

    1. I think most people just don’t care at all. They even mix these dangerous energy drinks with alcohol which is even worse i guess

      1. I totally agree with you and since young ones are not informed of the harmful effect of mixing energy drinks and alcohol they don’t care what can be the side effect.
