Fall 2019 UWGB Student Business Idea Contest Open for Entries!

5pm, Monday, October 14, 2019 – University Union, Phoenix B room on the Green Bay campus

$500 is up for grabs!

The Fall 2019 UWGB Student Business Idea Contest is open for new idea entries.

To enter the competition, which is open to all UWGB students on all four campuses from all majors and areas of study, please email Ryan Kauth (KauthR@uwgb.edu) by Thursday, October 10, to learn how to prepare your 90-second innovative idea video as the application to the contest. Video submission deadline is Saturday, October 12. You will be notified by Sunday, October 13, if you are a finalist pitching on Monday, October 14, at 5pm.

Thanks to WiSys and the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at UWGB, the top contest prize is $500 cash. In addition, finalists are eligible for scholarships to attend the European Innovation Academy (a 6-credit, 3-week summer travel course), and they may be selected to represent UWGB in other contests for even more $!

One of those contests is an all-expenses paid trip for two to pitch at the annual Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization Global Conference and Pitch Competition from October 31 – November 2 in Tampa.

Note: New ideas only! (We will hold a spring video pitch contest for business models, including ideas you have pitched before!)

Sponsored by Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization at UWGB with thanks to WiSys and the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business.
