Corporate partners share in Business Week award

Cofrin School of Business faculty Bill Lepley, David Radosevich, Larry McGregor, and Career Services Director Linda Peacock-LandrumIt was announced recently that the UW-Green Bay Founders Award for Excellence in Collaborative Achievement (see Founders Awards feature story) was presented to organizers of the first “Business Week” series (see feature story, photos) at UW-Green Bay in February.

Faculty members from UW-Green Bay’s Austin E. Cofrin School of Business, along with Career Services Director Linda Peacock-Landrum, were quick to point out the vast community involvement that made the event such a success.

Faculty members from the Cofrin School of Business — David Radosevich, Larry McGregor, Marilyn Sagrillo and Bill Lepley — thanked the major corporate sponsors (Georgia-Pacific, Pomp’s Tire, Schenck, Wisconsin Public Service Foundation/Integrys, Schreiber, Baylake Bank, WIPFLI, Camera Corner Connecting Point, and Bank First National) in person with a framed mosaic of Wood Hall. (Pictured above, left to right, is Lepley, Radosevich, Peacock-Landrum and McGregor.

Other sponsors included Fox Communities Credit Union, The MARQ, St. Brendan’s Inn, Cornerstone Business Services, Leonard & Finco Public Relations and the UW-Green Bay offices of Career Services, Small Business Development Center and the Alumni Association.

In varying shades, colors and sizes, more than 5,000 business administration alumni names combine to depict Wood Hall, the program’s home since the mid-1970s. The week’s capstone was a reception, dinner and keynote presentation at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts, with more than 170 attendees. Visiting executives from Hewlett-Packard and Oracle Enterprise 2.0 addressed the audience.
