Thursday’s (Feb. 9) Green Bay Press-Gazette editorial focuses on Black History Month, highlighting some of the fun, meaningful and educational events taking place locally to celebrate. Several UW-Green Bay events are mentioned, including next week’s documentary and discussion featuring Hank Thomas, an original Freedom Rider. “If you’ve never attended a community event celebrating Black History Month,” the editorial begins, “it’s time to discover what you’ve been missing.” We concur.
