Baird Creek nature hikes
What better way to enjoy the Baird Creek Greenway than with a guided autumn hike? On Saturday afternoon (Oct. 17) local educator Charlie Frisk will lead the Autumn Colors and Champion Tree Hike. Frisk will not only discuss the trees, but also the history of the area. On Nov. 21, UW-Green Bay geology Prof. John Luczaj will lead the Soils and Geology Hike, discussing glacial formations and the landscape of the past. Both hikes begin at 1 p.m. and are free to all.
