Student Art Exhibition opening, reception
The 36th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition opens this Thursday (Nov. 13) at the Lawton Gallery. The free public reception begins at 4:30 p.m. with announcement of awards at 5 p.m. The exhibition is billed as an exciting avant-garde potpourri of works in a wide range of media, by more than 50 student artists from majors across campus. A special extra this year: The show was juried by nationally prominent arts administrator Daniel Keegan, executive director of the Milwaukee Art Museum and a UW-Green Bay alumnus.
