Students’ ‘Global Sustainability Summit’ is open to all, Friday
Prof. Katia Levintova’s Global Politics and Society course and Prof. Sara Rinfret’s Introduction to American Government class are convening a semi-annual global summit simulation for sustainability. The summit will take place this Friday (Nov. 6) from 4 to 6 p.m. in the University Union Phoenix Room. Over 200 students will be presenting information from 36 countries as part of this year’s University Common Theme. Country delegations craft resolutions and negotiate with others to create a worldwide resolution for global sustainability. The event is free and open to the public.
