Social Work seniors share report on LGBTQ youth suicide

Seniors of the UW-Green Bay Social Work Professional Program, as part of faculty member Mark Quam’s Social Policy Analysis II class, are turning the spotlight on the issue of  LGBTQ youth suicide. Members of the class are now visiting various human service agencies and organizations to give a presentation on this important topic. As of this writing, they’ve presented to Brown County and Family Services audiences.

Remaining presentations:
May 4, 2 p.m. — Brown County Coalition for Suicide Prevention (Family Services), 300 Crooks St.;
May 6, 9 a.m. — Child Protective Services, Sophie Beaumont Building, 111 N. Jefferson St.
