What’s on the minds of freshmen as they start at UW-Green Bay?

Lets find out…

What brought you to UW-Green Bay?

Clarissa Justmann
Mayville, WI

I just really enjoy nature, and this campus just kind of talked to me. When I first came here I really enjoyed the scenery. When I finally found out the programs offered here I really started to appreciate the wholeness of the campus.

Kevin Lornson
Menasha, WI

The environment… how it’s all nice and open. Lots of people. Kind of close to home.

Kong Moua
Menasha, WI

I really don’t know. I just kind of liked the campus and I kind of wanted to be close to home, I guess.

Kenzi Daley
Grafton, WI

I like the campus a lot, and I liked how it wasn’t too close to home, but it was just like the right distance away.

Sam Kelley
Grafton, WI

Same here.

Kristin Maiermerz
West Bend, WI

From touring the college, I know it’s a good program, and I know from some of the class choices and stuff I know it’s a good choice.

Jon Buss
Manitowoc, WI

I toured the campus and I really liked the atmosphere. Plus, I’m planning on being a technical theatre major, so I really liked the Weidner Center.

Shawn Lewkowski
Muskego, WI

Mainly the campus. I really love the campus and the underground tunnels and, of course, the bathrooms in our own rooms. That’s what really hit it.

We’re just trying to get everything moved in and (figure out) where to put it all.

Clarissa Justmann
Mayville, WI

I enjoy it. It’s fun. I finally get a space that I can just make my own and there are not really any rules or regulations on how to make it mine.
