There was plenty of wine, cheese and smiles to go around when alumni and friends got together for the Bill Laatsch Wine and Cheese Classic last week. Retired faculty member (and Provost) Bill Laatsch made a return appearance as “The Mouse” for the good-natured event, which is one of the longest standing traditions on campus.

Plenty of Green Bay media outlets were on hand for the return of the statue of St. Anthony to the LeMieux Chapel in the Cofrin Memorial Arboretum. UW-Green Bay students were treated to a Saving Jane concert Sept. 7 in the Mary Ann Cofrin Hall Circle. The Columbus, Ohio-based band, which found its style shifting more from acoustic roots to alternative rock is best known for its top-40 hit “Girl Next Door.”
