Habitat for Humanity Restore

Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity ReStore will be holding their next volunteer information session on Saturday, February 18th from 10-11am. These information sessions are for anyone interested in learning about Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity ReStore and how they work with Habitat for Humanity to provide decent affordable housing in Brown County. The information sessions are led by the Volunteer Coordinator who will review the history of Habitat and ReStore, basics of volunteering, and a tour of the store. YMCA Swim Smart Program Volunteers

Greater Green Bay YMCA is in need of volunteers for their Swim Smart program which will run various days during the months of March and April beginning March 1st and ends May 3rd. Volunteers will be Swim Smart Assistants at the Downtown YMCA. This is a water-based safety program targeting 2nd grade students from “at-risk schools”. The main goal of this program is to educate children of the risks in and around water. Training is provided prior to each session. ASPIRO Phonathon

ASPIRO is in need of volunteers for their ASPIRO PHONATHON which takes place on Sunday, Feb 26, and Monday Feb 27 from 5-8pm both nights. 23 volunteers are needed to help call pre-notified supporters each night of the PHONATHON, with each night asking 3 hours of your time. Shifts volunteers are needed are 5-5:30pm for dinner and training, 5:30-7:30pm for making phone calls, and 7:30-8pm is wrap up. This PHONATHON is to help raise important annual operating funds. Salvation Army Drivers for Seniors

The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers for their Drivers for Seniors program. Volunteers are needed on Mondays at 8am and Wednesdays at 8am. Tasks would include picking up seniors and taking them shopping using a vehicle provided by the Salvation Army and on Wednesdays there may be an occasional field trip.
