The Residential Program is recruiting a Part-Time Youth Development Specialist to work at our live-in treatment program for adolescents. The schedule for this position is 10am-6pm on Saturday & Sunday every other weekend. Additional hours are available during the week to cover open shifts.
Duties include working with youth who need caring adults to help them learn new skills to manage their feelings, make positive decisions, learn responsibility and develop healthy relationships. You will work with youth individually and in small group settings teaching social skills, healthy coping skills and recreation & leisure activities. In addition, you will ensure safety by providing excellent supervision and crisis management.
