Executive Continuing Education & Community Engagement Officer

This position reports to the Provost & Vice Chancellor and has overall administrative, fiscal, programmatic, personnel and strategic responsibility for continuing education and community engagement. CECE serves as an incubator for the university, where the Executive Director provides university-wide leadership for credit and non-credit based certificates, badges, and courses related to workforce and professional development and targeted student populations. The Executive Director establishes and facilitates strategic partnerships to support the growth and execution of programs in response to educational and market needs. This position promotes stable and productive relationships with university stakeholders, and between the university and local community. The Executive Director oversees all continuing professional education programming and personnel for all campus locations (Green Bay, Manitowoc, Sheboygan, and Marinette). CECE is central to the strategy of UW-Green Bay meeting its mission as an access university.

Custodian Lead

This position reports to the Custodial Services Program Supervisor and must be able to lead by example.  This position is responsible for providing custodial services for the Weidner Center.  This position will monitor inventory of supplies and initiate supply orders as needed, monitor the facilities schedule of events in order to anticipate custodial needs and schedule student employees and LTE’s accordingly.  This position will train and delegate work assignments to LTE’s and student employees, exhibit high standards in the performance of job duties in order to properly clean the assigned work area according to departmental standards. Other responsibilities include using equipment and cleaning products, conducting inspections of assigned areas, setting up for special events and other duties as assigned. Additionally, the Custodian Lead is expected to provide excellent customer service to other staff, colleagues, and facility patrons.

DEADLINE EXTENDED – Building & Grounds Supervisor (Sheboygan & Manitowoc Campuses)

This is a responsible, managerial, and supervisory position reporting to the Associate Director of Facilities Management. The incumbent will secondarily report to the administrators of the Sheboygan and Manitowoc campus, as they can be interacting with them on a daily basis. This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and directing the activities of semi-skilled and unskilled personnel engaged in building maintenance. The incumbent will to be a working supervisor that repairs mechanical equipment and building components as necessary, while providing leadership to their staff. The incumbent will provide a cursory inspection of the fleet vehicles used by each campus. This position is also responsible for making recommendations regarding long-range plans concerning fiscal needs, construction, maintenance and repair. Job duties are performed with a minimum of direction.

The incumbent will reside at either Sheboygan or Manitowoc campus and will travel to either campus on a weekly basis to supervise and maintain those facilities. Travel expenses are built into the position and travel is via a personal vehicle or one of the state vehicles on campus.

Student Status Examiner

This position reports to the Assistant Director of Admissions Operations and functions within the context of the Admissions Office team. This position is a primary reception point for admission applications and undertakes significant responsibility for application processing. Significant independent decision-making is expected, and the ability to learn, interpret and apply complex admissions policies is essential. Comfort with complex software systems and technical equipment is also essential.

Financial Specialist Senior

This position reports to the Bursar and is responsible to reconcile and generate billing statements to third party entities in accordance with established agreements and contracts. This person provides direct customer service to students, parents and other third-party funding sources. In addition, this person is responsible for coding and generating disbursements from the Agency and Contingent accounts per received requests; for process refund checks and approved short–term loans; reconciliation with documentation on stale dated uncashed student refund checks working with Financial Aid to return Federal Funds if source of uncashed refund check. The Financial Specialist-Senior is also responsible for assisting as primary backup to the Financial Specialist Lead Cashier.

Admissions Counselor (Two Vacancies)

The office of Admissions is seeking two Admissions Counselors who will report to the Assistant Director of Admissions and will assist in identifying, communicating, and implementing vital recruitment strategies targeting diverse populations, in an effort to enhance and grow the University’s student body.

Position one will serve in a s support role to various geographic territories and strategically work with prospective and admitted students. This position will assist in coordinating on-campus group field trips for schools and organizations. Additionally, they will develop, plan and execute on-campus programs primarily serving first generation students or students from diverse backgrounds.

Position two will serve as a Transfer Admissions Counselor and will assist with planning, coordinating and carrying out a variety of activities to assist students with the process of transferring to the University from other colleges. The person will evaluate transcripts to determine equivalencies for transfer credit. Experience working with transferology or processing unofficial credit evaluations for this position is preferred.

School Social Work Coordinator

This position reports to the Chair of the Social Work program and is a 9-month academic year position with additional limited summer work associated with School Social Work Coordinator duties. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the School Social Work (SSW) Program at UW-Green Bay and collaborating with the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) to implement their School Based Mental Health Professionals (SBMHP) project. In addition, this position will teach courses in the BSW and MSW Programs at both the Green Bay and Wausau locations.
