Assistant Professor – Biology and Herbarium Curator

The Department of Natural and Applied Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay invites applicants for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Biology and Curator of the Gary A. Fewless Herbarium. This is a 10-month appointment (1 month in the summer), with half-time teaching responsibilities and half-time supervision of the Fewless Herbarium, including mentoring of graduate students in UW-Green Bay’s Environmental Science and Policy Graduate Program. We encourage candidates who have strong professional or academic experience in botany, plant systematics, plant bioinformatics, or plant ecology, plus experience working with natural history collections, to apply. Experience and/or interest in plant systematics, familiarity with the biota of northeastern Wisconsin, and experience in curation of herbarium collections are highly desirable qualifications.
